Cante Jondo est une suite de miniatures musicales pour voix sur quelques poèmes de Lorca, originalement réalisées sur cassette, en 1993, à Paris. Ce sont des compositions instantanées, harmonisées spontanément, à deux et trois voix avec claquements de mains, clavier et métronome, enregistrées directement sur cassette, sans édition. Après plus de vingt cinq ans dans des boites, ces musiques sont revenues à la vie aujourd’hui grâce à cette édition digitalisée. Cette musique embryonnaire contient inextricablement les influences qui ont pénétré mon imaginaire musical inspirées de Lorca. La musique est accompagnée de mes premiers dessins d’encre et pastel sur papier qui servent d'illustrations pour ce Zine. J’ai cru longtemps que ces tentatives musicales étaient mortes et sans issue, mais voici qu’elles peuvent renaitre et respirer aux oreilles et aux yeux du monde!

Cante Jondo is a suite of musical miniatures for voice on a few poems by Lorca, originally made on cassette, in 1993, in Paris. They are instantaneous compositions, spontaneously harmonized, for two and three voices with handclaps, keyboard, and metronome, recorded directly on cassette, without edition. After more than twenty-five years spent in boxes, these pieces have come back to life today thanks to this digitized edition. This embryonic music inextricably contains the influences that have penetrated my musical imagination inspired by Lorca. The music is accompanied by my first ink and pastel drawings on paper which serve as illustrations for this Zine. For a long time, I thought that these musical attempts were dead and pointless, but now they can be reborn and breathe among the ears and eyes of the world!

Cante Jondo es una suite de miniaturas musicales para voz sobre algunos poemas de Lorca, originalmente realizadas en cassette, en 1993, en Paris. Son composiciones instantáneas, armonizadas espontáneamente, a dos o tres voces, palmas, teclado y metrónomo, grabadas directamente en cassette, sin edición. Después de más de veinticinco años en cajas, estas músicas han vuelto a la vida gracias a la edición digitalizada. Esta música, embrionaria, contiene inextricablemente las influencias que han penetrado mi imaginario musical, inspiradas por Lorca. La música está acompañada de mis primeros dibujos con tinta y pastel sobre papel, que sirven para ilustrar este Zine. Creí durante mucho tiempo, que estos experimentos musicales estaban muertos y sin salida, pero aquí, pueden renacer y respirar en los oídos y los ojos del mundo!
